Servers are a unique aspect of MovieStarPlanet. Each server has a different community of players; however, they all keep a similar interface and offer the same features.
All servers are accessible by every player no matter their location, as long as they're on the desktop app. However, the player must sign up for each server individually; accounts do not carry through from server to server.

Trivia[]
- Although the first server, Denmark, was launched in June 2009, the server launched as beta in January 2009.
- Although MyStarPlanet is named differently, it's still MovieStarPlanet. The reasoning behind the name change is yet to be disclosed, but possibly to avoid confusion with Spanish cellphone provider Movistar.
- In the URL, anything could be put after the "www.", or instead of it, and it would still load whatever server you used as the base (for instance, "https://www.pixistar.moviestarplanet.com" or "https://pixistar.moviestarplanet.com"). Some of these server links may contain a privacy error upon clicking them, but the links are completely safe.
- Sometimes a single server may be used to test an update before it's added to all the other servers. In addition to this, some servers may be updated later than others.
- Certain features are sometimes kept from some servers; this is sometimes believed to be due to child safety. An example of this would be Holly Nova only being added to some servers.
- The German server is the only server that has a "Legal Information" tab in the top corner of the screen.
- There is an Italian server and a Belgium server within the MovieStarPlanet files, although they were never used.
